On a religious note, God strikes them with a lightening bolt after the two impersonate priests in a confessional booth. They destroy property and care nothing for education. These guys certainly are not role models and they demonstrate many ideas for dirty jokes and hijinks. This movie has a plot, and clearly defined characters, but that is all. The boys readily agree and go on a cross country caper filled with ludicrous mayhem to meet her. They think he is willing to pay them $10,000 to have sex with his wife, Dallas. Muddy wants the boys to “do” his wife, meaning to kill her, but the boys misunderstand him. In this movie, the two losers get their television stolen, and stumble into a seedy motel room where they meet Muddy. Crude, vulgar and only marginally better in animation than the TV show, it is a painful and tiresome movie to watch. The whole movie revolves around the two virginal nerds trying to “score” with an older, married woman.
Like I say, it’s harder to write than you’d think, but I think I’m pretty happy with the way we brought them into the future.From the dregs of television to a screen near you comes the perpetually stupid and inane comedy from MTV, BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD DO AMERICA. I watched a lot of Clouseau movies and Cheech and Chong and that stuff is really well done.
Speaking about the revival in an interview with Consequence, Judge explained, “It’s harder than it looks to write Beavis and Butt-Head because they’re so dumb. Original creator Mike Judge is behind both the movie and the new series, as he serves as an executive producer alongside Lew Morton, Michael Rotenberg, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Ben Kalina, and Antonio Canobbio for Titmouse. The new series comes on the heels of the original film Beavis & Butt-Head Do the Universe, which ranks among the funniest films of the year. In anticipation, the official trailer has been revealed. The Beavis and Butt-Head revival continues on Thursday, August 4th with the premiere of a new episodic series on Paramount+.
